Contains Client's statstring and product, and is sent as the response when the client sends SID_ENTERCHAT. Username is the user's unique name in chat (Which may be Arta, Arta#2, Arta#3, etc). Account name is the user's account name (Which in all 3 previous examples would be Arta). |

No. I had a lot of trouble with this because I thought I would receive a response to this packet after sending it. It turns out you have to send 0x0B and 0x0C (for StarCraft at least) before getting a 0x0A response.

Yes, this is received after you send SID_ENTERCHAT. Assuming you do send SID_ENTERCHAT, you will always receive this response.

When does this packet get received? Is it right after the send of SID_ENTERCHAT? And is this packet always received?

Unique Username is the Username the server assigns you, example: JoeBob is online already, you log on to JoeBob also; the Unique Username would be JoeBob#2, ect. Account is the base account without the number mangling at the end

No, that isn't possible. If you're talking about how IPbans work, they're just a /squelch on the banned user.

I've heard of a way to get someone IP when a user joins a channel, and that their IP is with a packet sent C>S. Is this the packet which contains the users IP?
